Coast and Bridges Guided Cycle Tour

From Leith we follow a beautiful route out of town towards the iconic Forth Road and Forth Railway bridges and picturesque South Queensferry (5 hours, 42km). We cycle along the promenade past the historic Crammond neighbourhood, cross the river Almond, then cycle through the Dalmeny estate, and past Dalmeny House, a gothic mansion. We stop for a lunch break and to enjoy stunning views of the Forth Road Bridge at historic South Queensferry.

This tour can be tailored to suit your family if a private group. A short (2 hour) guided cycle ride suitable for families with children. We start in Leith and cycle past the docklands and along the coast. We then take cycle tracks through leafy parks, past the Water of Leith, looking out for wildlife on the way.
